Non-refund of deposit account

I had two airtel post paid mobile numbers in coimbatore (9790000737 and 9790000244) on my name. i got both the numbers deactivated on my getting posted out of coimbatore to bangalore. the confirmation regarding the deactivation of the numbers was given to me by the airtel customer care. i had given my new contact number and the new postal address to airtel so that they can send me the cheque of the refund account. i have written numerous emails and spoken on telephone also but the amount has not been refunded to me till now..
