Dear Sir,
I, Chetna Karnani, of FD - 231, Saltlake City, Kolkata - 700106, had taken an Airtel Connection in mid February. My number is 9831082154. I had taken this connection as I needed a Data Card as I was travelling to Rishikesh.
The connection provided to me was so slow that I could not even check my emails. The speed of the connection, shockingly, never crossed even 5 KB/s.
Not only did this Data Card serve any purpose, infact it made me lose 2 contracts as I could not reply to the mails on time.
The data card was sold to me by some sales person called Bappa Chatterjee, his number is 9831049093. I got back from Rishikesh today morning and when I called him and requested him to get my line dis-connected, he was absolutely rude, and said, "selling connection is in my hand, not disconnection". Should that mean that there goal is just to sell connections, and then what happens to the customers is none of their concern.
When I called Airtel Customer Care, I was told that it will take TEN WORKING days for the connection to be dis-connected (Complaint Number - 31279235)
Its sad to see such a poor and horrible service from Airtel.
