Dear Service Provider,

I am working with a PSU and wanted a new airtel connection in our company CUG. The concerned distributor, Jimmy, was called in. He promised me a speacial number which he said costed rs 1500. Under some discount scheme he offered the same at rs 1000. He took my documents and Rs 1000 and gave me a sim card instantly, saying it would be activated the next day.

Then he started avoiding my calls saying he is in a meeting or out of town. after 10 days he started demanding more money for the same number saying that its a high value number and it costs Rs 6000. And again started avoiding.

Out of frustration, I spoke to Airtel relationship mgr, Mr Divyarth bhatt who intervened and asked him to sort out the matter. Despite that mr Jimmy has been delaying my activation. Today Its been more than three weeks after submitting all the required documents, but he has not come and met even once to clarify the issue and find a solution. I have been calling Jimmy several times to meet and discuss bt he gives excuses and avoids a meeting too!

Questions to Airtel :

What should a customer do when he doesnt receive response from the distributor?

What should a customer do when he feels that he has been duped of his money?

What should a customer do when after the entire transaction, the dealer starts demanding exhorbitant money for the same number?

What should a customer do when he has a sim which hyas not been activated fro 3 weeks?

Its highly disappointing!
