Outgoing blocked stating document mismatch

Hello All

I am a software engineer working for TCS and I am really dissatisfied with Airtel pre-paid connection.

I had applied for Airtel pre-paid connection at Airtel office (ITPL, Whitefield, Bengaluru) on 12th Oct and my connection got activated on 13th Oct.

However on 22nd Oct suddenly my outgoing got blocked.

On calling customer care I was informed that there is a mismatch in my document. However no clear information was provided on what was mis-matched.

Please note that I had applied for pre-paid SIM at Airtel office and had submitted all required documents and only after that I got Airtel SIM.

If there really was a mismatch then why was I issued Pre-paid SIM in first place???

This seems to be a blunder on part of Airtel staff who filled and submitted my document.

Shouldn't Airtel contact it's office staff in Whitefield office to verify who made mistake?

Why customer has to suffer in such scenario??

Why customer is not provided any clear information???

I am being asked to re-submit my documents and wait for 3 more days after document submission to get outgoing re-activated which is a crap.

I am not a fool to keep submitting my documents again and again.

Instead I will go ahead and buy SIM from some other Telecom company which is more customer friendly.

I won't recommend anyone to take Airtel pre-paid connection.
