Airtel Prepaid Number
Stopped working suddenly

I have been using an Airtel prepaid number (9550889373) for the last two years. I acquired the number in Hyderabad. At present, I'm in Mumbai. Yesterday (February 18) afternoon, my phone stopped working. I have enough balance in my account. This is the only number I have and I badly need this number to be active. I have been in Mumbai for almost a month now. I went to the Airtel Relationship Centre at Vile Parle and lodged a complaint. The CRO there called up someone in Hyderabad and informed them of the problem. No one seems to know what the problem is. The person she spoke to said the problem will be rectified. I have not been given any reason why the number stopped working all of a sudden. I would appreciate it if the Airtel people don't dilly dally and understand the emergency of the situation and restore my phone to a working condition.
