Misbehaviour and cheating

We went to visit Kerala and reached Munnar on 06/10 and stayed at Ayur County Resort for two days. It was a group of 17 persons consisting of 5 families and we hired 6 rooms (Room No- 901 to 906) for 6th & 7th October. In one room one water tap was not functioning which was reported several times to the home service over phone. That room was not having any toiletries also. Next day we were told that hotel management is having no knowledge of any defect in any water tap and so it is presumed that you have done something and as a result one water tap in the toilet is not working and you have to compensate for the defective tap. We contacted the person who looks after the sanitary fittings of the hotel and came to know that he reported defect in the toilet and requested hotel authority not to allow any guest in that room and it surprised him that the same room has been allotted to a guest. On 8th morning at the time of check out hotel authority to our utter surprise demanded Rs.1500/- and refused to listen anything even after repeated requests. Hotel Manager and his staff misbehaved with us and we were detained two and a half hour by not issuing get pass for our vehicle even after payment of Rs.1500/- as they were unable to locate our advance payment amount in their bank account. At last they located the amount in their bank account and we could start journey from Munnar to Periar. Room service of the hotel was worst and they are unable to provide even drinking water in the rooms even after 17-18 calls.
