I received a call stating that I have won free gift voucher (some cosmetics and electricals)

Went there right into the hands of a DAE holidays, Five minutes and I fled the scene.

1. How dare they announce the free calls amd then force people into taking memberships?

2. are they entieled to do business in this kind? is there any law to prevent this?
