We went to mysore from trichy via sathyamangalam route. While entering karnataka border there is check - post and a RTO was there. They asked the driver for an amount of Rs.- as tax fee. Then we interfere and ask the RTO why this much of amount should we has to pay. Then RTO shouted at us. He asked the watchman to push us and shouted us not to stand near the RTO office. That is a government office. Why they shouted at us not to stand there? Then he said that they will give a receipt for Rs.800/- only. But they asked Rs.-. This is very big corruption. That RTO can earn lakhs of rupees in a month itself. Both tamilnadu & karnataka tourism should take a look at this.
