The expressrewards promoted holiday scheme offering one week’s holiday package against payment of Rs 6999. I purchased 2 coupons by paying twice the amount some where in Jan. The membership is valid for one year. Incidentally their letters are neither signed nor dated with an ulterior motive to defraud general public at large. The letter claims that it belongs to Express Group of companies.

As per the terms of membership, I applied for holiday package commencing from 20th Aug. I sent in the application well in advance around 19th June. As per the scheme they should confirm availability within a week. Since there was no reply, I called them up on 01206128115. Most of the times only machine reply was available. On 4 - 5 occasions there was response with an assurance to send voucher within 2 – 3 days. The promise was never kept. It is a clear case of defrauding the innocent public.

On 28th July I sent them a letter dated 26th July by registered post ref no 03 addressed to Express rewards c/o One Touch Solutions India Pvt Ltd, G-129/15, NSEZ, Phase – II, Noida – 201305. UP., requesting them to refund the amount. They have chosen to remain silent. I continued my efforts through telephone calls but to no avail. On 17th inst., I sent them a mail also to offers@expressindia.com as mentioned in their site www.expressrewards.in. Their site boasts of several benefits to the investors but the reality is otherwise. Like this if they fool lakhs of people amount involved could be in billions.
