I had booked a package tour trip offered by Jyothi Tours & Travels for visiting Northeast States (Assam, Meghalaya, Kolkata) initially the tour operator said that all the necessary arrangements would be done and you will enjoy your vacation. I have made the full payments for the above said package and started off. Initially he had given me the program guide for the entire trip (5days 6 nights).

We were given the air tickets along with the program guide and we went the moments i landed in Assam (Guwahati) there was change in the program according to the plan we were said that we will be staying 2 days in Meghalaya and 1 day in Assam but the local travel agent who was coordinating us told us upon enquiring that he had communicated the same with my travel agent but was not communicated to us, and from there the trouble started we were trying to call up the Hyderabad travel agent keeping the local coordinator in the con-call to my surprise he said to the local agent that any way these people don't know the places so you show them the places as per your plan and tell them that you have shown everything, I was shocked to listen to his conversation then i said that i was also on the call the moment he heard my voice he hanged up and didn't picked up my call.

I need to shell out extra amount from my pocket and see the places and the e rooms given were single room with 2 beds i had to call up that agent and make an arrangement for extra bed during my entire trip i was sleeping on the extra bed (Only mattress and pillow) even the food served was also as per the package with very limited quantity. It was worst experience ever faced by me. I am planning to file a legal suit against this operator let’s see what will be verdict but I want to inform you all that before planning any vacation (Package Tour) Please make sure that you call them up and tally the complete tour program before starting this is what I have overlooked and had to face problems.

If anyone knows the process for proceeding further legally please do advice.
