Misbehavior and No Invoices

We, a group of four families checked into this resort in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh on 18th May.
No Id's were checked, No registers were signed etc. We were told not to worry and relax.
Next day full payment was asked for, which we paid.
On the evening of 19th, the owners and managers of the resort, under the influence of alchohol, misbehaved with us and our families, physically assaulted our accomplice.
On the morning of 20th when we wanted to check out (one day earlier than what we had booked and paid for) and asked for a refund for the third night - it was bluntly refused in the name of policy.
Moreover, no invoices were issued and the reception staff bluntly told us that our check in has not been registered. This is really making mockery of all applicable laws in our country.
