On the 30-April-10, we booked 5 seats in KRSNA Travels for a trip from Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar.

The boarding point mentioned on the ticket was Opp. RK hotel, LBS Mrg., Near Sarvodaya Hospital, Ghatkopar (W), Mumbai which was corrected by KRSNA Travels office later on to Opp. Ghatkopar Bus Depot, Ghatkopar (E) only when asked to confirm it on 30.4.10 (2000hrs). In fact it should have been updated on the website itself.

Secondly, when the bus did not turn up at the given time, i.e., 2250hrs, we called up Krsna office No.

022-28925656 enquiring about the bus and informed him that we were already at the boarding point, Opp. Ghatkopar Bus Depot. The office man on duty (name not known) who answered our phone call told that the bus was on the way at Amar Mahal and he gave the mobile number of the bus driver as 9920578011. But even after half hour, there was no bus in sight, we contacted the driver’s number which was repeatedly engaged. That was between 2300hrs-2315hrs. Meanwhile, there was a call from Krsna office asking us to check the driver’s number corrected as 9820588011. When we dialed the number, the ticket-superviser of the bus No. 9522 (Mumbai-Mahabaleshwar) answered saying that he was already waiting on the road side on the EE Highway after the T-crossing of Ghatkopar-EEH and asked us to come over there. When we told him that our boarding was given to be Opp. Ghatkopar bus depot where we were asked to wait for the bus, the superviser insisted that the bus was already well past the traffic signal and it could not be turned back to pick us up. Then we reminded him about the given boarding point, the wrong bus driver number and lack of coordination between the Krsna office staff and the crew and the inconvenience caused to us as a result of. Finally, after a lot of grumbling, the superviser came there in another bus and picked us up and took us to the Mahabaleshwar bound bus.

All the above-said hassles and inconvenience caused to us could have been avoided had there been proper coordination between the Krsna office staff and the bus crew. Till the last minute, the crew did not bother to call us up to confirm their arrival nor our whereabouts. Because of this fracas at the beginning of our weekend tour, the joy of tour itself was terribly lost and we could not enjoy our travel by Krsna Volvo. Any hope that you will behave and become passenger-friendly?
