Laptop Missing

Respected sir/madam,

My Toshiba laptop was stolen in a bus (SPK Travels, Koyembedu, Chennai).

Date: 4-3. Time: 9:30PM, Tour: From Koyembedu to Tirupur.

I reached the travels at 8.30pm on 4th March. I boarded the bus by 9.30pm. As soon as I boarded, I kept my laptop on the rack and sat in my seat. When i checked after 5 mins, it wasn't there. The drivers, conductors were so harsh and ruthless. Even the co passengers were so indifferent. Nobody helped me in identifying the thief. I suspect that the travels people (Drivers and conductors) are involved in this. Because the moment I informed the driver, that my laptop was missing, he made me go out of the bus for a few mins time to check whether anybody was standing out with the bag. But nobody was there. Only after that I came to know the driver could have done that to divert my mind and made the thief escape from the bus safely. I've registered a complaint at Koyembedu police station, Chennai. I am not sure how far the police are going to be serious in my case. Since that was an office laptop I am panic indeed. Now I kindly request you to take necessary steps in this regard.
