Muskaan Lodge, Matheran
The worst place to stay in world

It was the worst experience with this place called Muskaan Lodge in Matheran. We landed in Matheran Car parking area and heading to Market place. One guy came and asked for Hotel booking. He showed us the pics of hotel which was like no match of the actual.

It was season time and top of that weekend, he said all hotels are full and this one is also filling up. We were total ten number of people includes ladies, kids and aged ones too.By considering problem we could face if the same situation occur we booked it. We already paid the amount (the biggest mistake). We walked towards market area. We asked for the place they directed us to one small lane going in local residential area. When we finally reached there we were in shock. It was one stinky little house they called lodge.

There was one small ladder to go up to the rooms, you have to pass toilet which was stinking like the hell. In room there was no proper bed, no water in bath room or toilet, no towel, no soap. It was smelling badly, ladies felt like puking. Even there was no people for room service, some boys were there. There were two buckets in bat room were like it came from some garage. When the water got over and you ask for water, they will take those buckets and put it in Sintex Water tank (of course without cleaning) and give it to you (disgusting isn't it?). Apart from that they were so rude, was like they are making some favor to us. This place was near one slaughter house I guess because there were people walking around with goat skins and dead goats in hand. This was not the sight you would want to see on your vacation.

There are many things to mention but I guess this is more than enough to make you aware.
