Waitlisted Seats in Railways

I have reserved a ticket for Ernakulam, Kerala State in 3 Tier A/C Compartment on Train No.12618 - Mangala Lakshadeep Express for 5th September but the ticket is waitlisted. Incidentally, the reservation has been made through online on 29th July but still the status is same the (Waitlisted). I am very often checking the status of my ticket through their website. Apparently, I believe that there is an illegal tie-up between the Railway Reservation Officers and ticketting agents for harassing passangers.

Further, I had a bad experience when I had travelled with a family ticket from Ernakulam to Kalyan during end- July. One of my tickets were waitlisted in Tatkal Quota and I had to pay to the Ticket Examiner in Kerala for allotting a seat. From this I understand that there is large scalre corruption in Indian Railways and its Officers are not only harassing its passangers, but also looting. So, I would request the Forrum to kindly investiage on these issues and assist the millions and millions of passangers traveling in different trains across India, daily.
