Charges for Tv installation

I have purchased a Sony Bravia LCD TV 5 mths back and due to house interior work had not gotten installed till date. When I called the company, they refused free installation as it had been more than 3 mths from the date of purchase. I was clearly shocked as their dealer had promised Free installation at that time not stating the time validity. When I mentioned it was a first time installation, the company representative refused saying it was in the warranty clause. The warranty clause only mentions about the Demo validity and not the installation, to which the company claims that the two are one and the same for them. I am shocked to see the attitude of such a reputed company and inspite of their products being higher priced than other brands, they are not at all flexible in service. I will only say to others wanting to buy this brand, buy it for the product, forget about the service!!
