Change of set top box

Efore 1 year i had a cable connection of gtpl. the cablewala gave me a set top box of gtpl at that time for Rs. 1000/-. but after 2 months because of some problems of gtpl and my cablewala he changed our cable company as INCABLENET and gave us a set top box of in cable. now 1 month ago i have shifted my residence and at my new residence there is a cable connection of gtpl. now my new cable wala or the gtpl company are refusing to gave me a set top box of gtpl in exchange of in cable sex top box. am i supposed to pay again Rs. 1000/- for a new set top box. kindly help me in this matter.
