Hathway cable
Lot of Channels disappeared suddenly

Sir,

We have been subscribing to Hathway cable for the last 7 years and have been a good customer with prompt monthly payments. Also, we were the first in our apartment complex to have purchased a digital set-top box from hathway cable.

Since last few days, following deterioration in service has occurred:

1. A lot of channels have just disappeared! For instance, All Doordarshan Private News channels like Aaj tak NDTV imagine Aastha etc. etc. When we called them, they said "Upar se order aaya hai" (These are orders from above!).

2. Language options which used to be available on some channels have disappeared. e.g. Children channels like Pogo, cartoon network

Is Hathway a Mom&Pop shop? Looks like it from the quality of service and the ad hoc nature of functioning. If hathway doesn't want to lose 170 customers in our complex, it will be in their interest to get the matter resolved as soon as they can.
