I purchased Airtel DTH service on 23rd March for Rs. 2500/- and got 6 months free subscription of South Mega package. After 6 months, i.e around 22nd Sept when i check my account, it was showing 18th September as my subscription end date. I bought recharge coupons and called up customer care around 9:30 PM same day many times but everytime after listening for 5 monutes about their stupid ESPN topup, get a message saying all our customer service reps are busy call after some time and the call gets disconnected. So I tried calling them the next day morning and a rep picked up and gave me info about some packages and adviced me that there was a free top up offer that would come with it. I asked him to get that package to me as the current package was a bit costlier and he told me that as the amount was in negative for me at this time, I should recharge first and then call back to have the package. I did the same and when I call back, an other rep picks up and tells me that there is no such offer. When I told him that I just called up and some one told me about that, he disagrees and says that if I called a day before, I would have got that offer. Had a discussion of about 40 minutes and he kept changing his words again and again. I haven't seen such a pathetic behaviour anywhere. Good for nothing. They keep changing the dates on the service and then the words. As per their records my subscription is activated on 22nd march when the sevice was provided on 23rd march to me.
