Set top box defective

My i.d no. is 3001416156 this set top box was installed in the month of oct. 2009 . Right from day of installation one or the other defects cropped up. Numerous complaints made to the local dealer were never attended to by the company"s engineers. On 24 of dec. a complaint was made to the company representative Mr. Bhagvat who promised to rectify the defect but till today nobody has turned up. A complaint was today launched with customer care cell of Airtel and assurance was given that the complaint would be rectified by 1600 Hrs today. Again no action has been taken which now forces me to take the matter to Consumer Forum at your costs and consequences arising there of shall entirely be the responsibility of Airtel DTH meanwhile i m throwing out this junk provided by the company.
