Installation/Activation

I purchased a airtel dth connection online on 17-dec. It was promised that within 24hours it will be installed and activated. Then on 22-12-10 the set top box was installed. After lot of communication with airtel dth people till 27-12 the activation of the set has not been done. After talking to customer care he says the box provided to you belongs to someone else and need to be replaced. Local dealer promises it will be changed after an hour or so but that hour don't seem to come. After again calling his reply is it will take some two or three days..Please help now what should be done...
