Cruelty against Animals for Wild Life

There is one prime shop near Manav Rachna College/Claridges Hotel on suraj kund road, just opposite Omaxe Forest Project in Faridabad. This shop is quite near to the shooting range forest area.

The shop keeper keeps several unique type of birds, ducks, rabbits who do not seem to be domestic in appearance but look to be captured from wild life preservation area.

Several birds are kept in small cages. Sometimes, I have noticed, birds cant even sit together at a time in teh cage so they sit on upper rods and some sit on lower rods of the cage.

Apart from that, ducks, rabbits, tortoises and many more species are also caged.

I have several times complained about them but every day the number of caged birds in the shop is increasing and there seemd to be no stop to this practice.

The shop has also expanded in terms of display of species.

I am not aware about which case can be made against them but am sure what they are practicing is certainly illegal and some action can be taken against them legally.

There has been absolutely no action to my repeated requests to several NGOs working against animal cruelty.

I hope you will take it up strongly and at the earliest stop this nuisance against animals for own profits. I will soon take pics, if possible and attach for ref.
