Regarding cheating

I have purchased a policy to inspire from advertising by Sachin Tendulkar. As guided by the agents I had to pay only three instalments in this policy. Accordinly I paid three instalments and I thught to surrender after 5 years. But Aviva comp. sent me a cheque of Rs. 15000/ and closed my policy. This was very shockful to me any how I balanced myself and consulted to my wellwisher and ultimately they suggested me to continue the policy hence I was force to continue my policy. But I dont know that still it is benifitial or not. God knows.
