Alarming water cess for Apartments in Hyderabad Cityty

Hello Concerned,

Rumours are in the pipeline that the HMWWS Board (Hyderabad Metro Water Works

and Sewerage Board may take a decision during this week to levy water cess

for the Apartments in the city in the following manner:

No of apartments x 131-50

Rs 131-50 is inclusive of water cess, sewerage, and Surcharge

In this connection Public interested leaders like Mr. Jaya Prakash Narain, Lok Satta

and Mr. Kishen Reddy, BJP May look into the matter.

Example: An independent House owner having 15ml connection will be levied

Rs.135 per month. In the case of Apartments, same 15 ml connection

the water will be distributed among 15 Flat owners. Not even a single drop of

excess water. Now that the HMWWS Board is gearing up to levy

Rs. 2120 pm for 15ml connection having 15 Flat owners for the same water

supplied to as that of Independent house connection. How its was Justified.

Will the formulae stands in the Court of Law, in case the Apartment owners

seek justice in the Court of law. Immediate attention of eminents in the field

is invited to stall the anti people policies.
