Non Refund of funds into my credit card

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have received a credit card from HDFC Bank. This was given as a previlage, as such my salary account is in HDFC Bank. The card was issued to me in the month of August.

Immediately after receipt of the credit card at my end, I started receiving calls from the ERGO Insurance Company.

Contineously she was behind me to purchase her Insurance Policy. This calls were made from Kolkutta, confirming her time and time on with regards to the policy that I am already insured by my employer and personally. She kept begging for the policy.

I refused and conveyed the same. In the next week after viewing the online statement I noticed that that ERGO has issued me a health policy amounting premium of Rs 5228/-. Policy No - 50343648/49.

Immediately called the call center and asked them about the policy issuance. Certainely they asked me to drop a letter for the cancellation of the policy to their grievence cell. Accordingly I dropped a letter.

Confirmed the same to HDFC Credit Card cell. The confirmation from both the depts (ERGO and HDFC Bank Credit Card) that the policy will be cancelled and the perquisite amount will be deposited in my credit card. They gave me the S R no - 10230146943 (HDFC Credit Card).

Now it is approximately 1 and half month the amount is still not being deposited into my account.

For serving the purpose from the date of receipt of credit card I have'nt done a single transaction on the card.

This is the classic example of how to crush peoples and make them defaulters, without their faults.

Is there anyone who will help me sorting out this mess.

I have already guided my colleagues to not to take services from HDFC Bank and Credit Card.
