Cash not delivered by SBI ATM but statement showing deduction

Iam an account holder of HDFC BANK. And I had been to SBI ATM in Richards Park Road near Frazer Town to withdraw Rs 8500 on 3/4. And i faced a very big problem when i gave a withdrawal option i got a message stating that "UNABLE TO PROCESS" and later i got a message on my mobile phone that the amount Rs 8500/- has debited from my account. Later i checked my balance, i saw the amount is deducted from my account. When i called SBI ATM customer care, one of the agent asked me to contact HDFC BANK as am account holder of that bank. And when i tried calling HDFC Customer care, i heard on call that customer care agents doesn't work on week ends. I had to wait till monday and call to customer care and launch a complaint. After launching the complaint the agent told me to wait for 12 working days. For the problem of bankers why do customers have to suffer?

And ATM machines of SBI, CANARA BANK'S are useless.
