Redemption of the policy

I had invested Rs 25, 000 as a single premium growth fund for five years. I was told that I will have an appreciation of 15 % annually and after five years I should be getting about double the money. Now after completion of 5 years on 29 October the company says that I have to buy one of their annuity plans

which are absolutely bogus and irrelevant for me because I am already 60 years old. I have talked to them several time and have been writing to them for the last three months. I am getting only vague replies.

You will be doing a great service to thousands of middle class persons if you spread this message.

HDFC Standard life agents speak something, their documents give something else and the company

implements some thing totally unpredictable. I think this company is top to bottom filled with cheats,

and fraudulent people and should closed immediately.
