Hidden charges

Hi to all, I have a Saving and DEMAT account with HDFC.While signing for Demat the person from HDFC told me & assure that there is no any charges other than Brokerage, I asked him so many times still he replied me the same then i signed for Demat account, but the hell in last month when i bought & sold some shares, HDFC charged me Transaction Fee, what the HELL it is. I dont understand why they charged me though the Demat account from the same bank. So my stong ADVICE to all friends who planned to go for HDFC Demat account, please please NEVR NERVER go for HDFC DEMAT, you will face unncessary LOSS..This is really a FRAUD case ..Even there are so many hidden charges over there for keeping sahres in portfolio... the HELL, better to go for Sharekhan, its very nice very understandable, very informative, Like NOKIA phone, no any HIDDEN charges there...
