Hi,

I have taken Life insurance from ICICI Prudential for my Duaghters and had paid premium of 30000/ each in the month of Sep'09. Now, 2 days back I got the letter from ICICI Preudentil stating that 1 premium is still due and is been ceased due to non receipt of payment.

Now, I have the acknowledgement details from ICICI pru, which I got at the time of depositing 30K each in both the accounts. Now when I spoke to ICICI Pru guy then intially the lingered on that syatem is not working and they are not able to find the details BUT finally they have agreed that it was a mistake at their end and they have deposited all 60K in 1 account instead of depositing 30K in each.

Now, they are asking me to sign on internal transfer letter Which I am denying as its a mistake from their end and they should get this corrected. Now I am sure that they gonnalevy late payment charges as well reactivation charges for the ceased account. I am HELPLESS and action should be taken against ICICI Prudential for such negligence.

I am planning to formally launch a compalint against ICICI Pru as well.
