INCOME TAX REFUND: CMPP3327786

I have not received the income tax refund for the assessment year 2010 . When I checked the https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/oltas/servlet/TaxRefundStatus I got the information that it was send as a cheque.

When I checked the status of the delivery it was updated that it was delivered to me. How in the world this could happen as I have been out of the country since August and no way Speed Post could have served it at my door steps.

Secondly when the tax was filed I had opted for the refund to be credited into my account and why was this ignored. I would like to know what else needs to be done by tax payers to get their hard earned money back.
