SUBJECT:- Status of policy

This is to inform you that, I am having a life insurance policy having policy no:-553803339 in Ghatsila /Moubhandar branch (branch code 552), under Jamshedpur

Jurisdiction, JHARKHAND.I received a letter in augt/sep stating that my policy

has been lapsed due to non- payment of premium due for year 2007.When I checked

my bank statement, it clearly shows amount Rs 15353 has been credited in LIC account,

having Cheque no122876, SBI, dated 10-nov. I called up my agent and branch manger regarding status of my policy. They assured me that my premium (year 2007) has been paid & their has been some local problem, & will be sorted out with in 2 to 3

Months and I will be informed the same. For that asked me to send the premium receipt

for year bank statement showing the payment & letter which was sent by LIC.

Manager asked me the pay the premium for year 2008 in the parent branch, which did so. Till now no information from manager/LIC. When I went to pay the premium for year 2009 in Bhubaneswar branch, branch manger informed me that, the policy is not in force since year hence premium can not be accepted by the branch. I called up my agent and branch manger, he informed me that it will sorted out with in a month, by

10-dec. Asked me to pay the premium for year 2009 in Ghastlsila /Moubhandar branch It is very inconvenient for my part to always deposit the premium in parent branch as I have traveling job assignment. Any how I manage to arrange to pay the

premium for year 2009 &obtain the receipt for the same.

This is a very unassuming situation, where my policy is not inforce but paying the

Premium diligently. So I request you to do anything to enforce my policy & update till

Year 2009.This is only for your information & I am sending all the relevant document to

Support my claim. Kindly see the thing in prospective, so that I may not be force to move to process of public complain redressal commission.
