Duble payment of policy and fine

I (SURINDER KAUR W/O SODHI SINGH, VILLAGE:-BISHANGARH, PO:-KALYAN, TEH.:-MALERKOTLA, DISTT.:-SANGRUR) hold a policy from lic.to witch i gave a check of about 8000 as a primium amount in mid of 2008.but they lost the check and fined me for delay.i submited the fine and amount by cash.but now almost one and ahalf year later lic has creadted the check.thus lic get duble amount and fine for no reason.is this not a cheat.kindly give me justic.
