Error in cheque

I have a complaint. I had taken LIC’s money plus policy no. being 233877663 from Jhansi branch. I was given a cheque for Rs.33594 vide cheque no.107545 dt.13.10.2010. Amount in figure in the cheque was correct. Amount in words was incorrect - it was written THREE THOUSAND ONLY instead of Thirty three thousand five hundred ninety four. As such, the cheque was returned to Jhansi Branch.

Two months elapsed. There is no replacement cheque. At present I am away from Jhansi. Could someone help me?
