LIC, Survival Benefit for 2005 to 2010
Interest on the re-invested amount of SB

Policy No.112703514 (Jeevan Sneh) The survival benefit due in 2005 was not taken and a request was made that the same will be taken along with the next survival benefit due in 2010. Hence, the same was re-invested by the branch of LIC. This is also recorded on the policy bond that the amount of Rs.20000/- has been re-invested. I have received the cheque of Rs.20, 000/-as SB for 2010 and the SB for 2005 was received very late that too despite a number of letters and e-mail. Now I want to bring to your kind notice that the amount of Rs.20, 000/- remained re-invested for 5 years with LIC under the branch Unit 11 X, NBCC Plaza Tower-IV, IInd Floor, Sector-V, Pushap Vihar, New Delhi-110017 but no interest for that period has so far been given to me despite repeated reminders and personal visits. No action is being taken by the officials of that branch in this respect when there is a clear provision of interest on this re-invested amount of Rs.20, 000/- (SB). Please help.
