Generating statement even after card cancellation

Hi,

I had applied for manhattan card as they said it will be free for lifetime.

After one year of use, they mentioned in the card statement Rs.1000 as service fee for the second year.

So i paid the dues on me (for the transactions i made) and immediately raised a request for card cancellation.

They took the complaint but did not cancel the card and keep on generating the statement every month accumulating the service tax on service free.

This is impacting my credit history and no proper action is being taken by these guys.

PLease suggest how should i proceed now.
