Regarding policy plans

Dear Sir,

I m working in defence sector, have less knowledge in insurance sector. Once Max New York life agent call me to do insurance, He told me to pay 10000/year for three year, and maturity will be the 4th year onwards. I pay him 1st year payments Rs 10000/- in Jun and he locked a Insurance No. 394368427, Later i came to know it is traditional policy & have to pay for minimum 10 YEAR AND MATURITY WILL BE AFTER 45 YEAR NOT LESS THAN THAT, When i called that agents, he told me that he leave THE COMPANY DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THE POLICY. PLZ HELP ME SIR, I WANT MY POLICY TO BE CONVERTED TO THREE YEAR PLAN... PLZ PLZ HELP ME...
