I have taken a mediclaim policy in MaxNew york Life Insurance

My policy premium due was on 19th sep 2009 (amount Rs.1822)

I paid the premium a bit late through drop box facility at J.P. Raja stores, Selaiyur, Chennai

cheque No. 65482

They accepted my premium and the amount has been debited from my account on 8th October

They sent policy lapse intimation on 20th October

I made a compliant

They registered the compliant and i have been given a compliant number 1408338

Subsequent to that I contacted them on these following days through their toll free number

In the mean time I have been asked to produce the bank statement to verify the cheque no. I have sent that also through fax

I have given two mails regarding this to their receipt sending service

Even after 60 days of complaint and repeated enquiries they are not ready to solve this issue

Every time when I make a call it takes nearly half an hour to appraise the issue as everyone claim ignorance and finally get the answer apologies and would be solved but next time I have to start the issue afresh

I am highly irritated of this issue

Now I need to claim tax benefits

Atleast I need the receipt for having paid the amount

I have spent nearly 10 hrs of my productive time worth around Rs. 20000 and the agony undergone in this issue is really unbearable costing me in terms of health. Kindly look into this issue and do the needful
