Carelessness-no refund even after 9month

Hi,

I took a Home Loan from AXIS bank and they advised to take a Metllife insurance along with the loan.

I took the metlife insurance also along with it. This was a one time payment insurance policy whose Details are below:

Now on Mar i closed the home loan and recvd the NOC from Bank for the closure of Home loan.

On may-22 i went to Metlife Insurance office @Hyd and handed over the issuance certifcate (the booklet provided by metlife), the NOC from Bank and an application for closing the insurance. The person in Hyd office*Mr Chaitanya) took all the documents and signed the application letter and gave me the acknowleding the application for closure has been received and i would get refund soon.

I havent recvd the refund yet (02-mar) and from last month i have been following up with metlife customer care.

First they said the ploicy is still active as they havent recvd any request for closing the same. When i send them the scanned copy of acknowldege issues to me by Metlife hyd office, they told now we have your request but we dont have ur NOC and issuance certificate.

I said i had handed over all and then only received ur acknowldegement but still they are not processing and asking me to file a new request along with NOC and issuance cert which i had submitted at time when i produced all the things.

This is a case of carelessness from metlife office and now even they are now declining to accept the acknowledgement which was give by their Hyd office.
