Holiday not declared to Vote on April 13

Dear Sir/Madam,

Holiday not declared to Vote on April 13. Am an outstation employee (80% of employees here are outstation and only 10% of them have applied for leave to Vote, Others not willing to apply for leave because we loose our own leave credit account. I don't want to do so being a citizen and at the same time when govt. has decleared as a holiday why should I apply for leave? Does it apply to Private companies too? This case is happening on all election times and even on Republic and Independence day too. Please take necessary action.
