NON REEMBURSEMENT OF CARBOOKING AMOUNT

I booked a Chevrolet Captiva on 21 January by paying a booking amount of rs 50000 to Chevrolet dealer Ashtivinayak auto (Goregaon west). On March 3 I decided to cancel the booking of the car and hence made my intention known to the salesman handlig the booking. I was ready to bear the deduction of Rs 10000 for cancellation of booking. The salesman (Mr Richard) told us to collect the cheque for Rs 40000 from him in a weeks time. But from that time on till today whenever we have gone to collec the cheque he keeps beating around the bush saying that sometimes the Sales manager is on leave or keeps giving some excuses. I humbly implore that strict action must be taking against these dealers as hthey are taking the consumers for a ride and not giving back what is due to me.
