Hi,

i had the same experience many times. i am staying at HSR sector-2. I used to take Auto from silk board junction to HSR sector-2 . The actual meter reading will be around 28 to 29 Rs. But they used to ask me more than double . 60 to 75Rs Average in day time. It will be 150 Rs 175 between 8pm to 8.30 am.

One experience.

one day, I was planning take auto at 9.30pm. They asked me 150 Rs.

I asked, why you are asking more than 5 times. Then they replied that you can go home at morning only, if you are not ready to pay. I denied with a smile.

Finally one more auto came in that way. He asked me only 1 and 1/2 of the meter reading. meter reading was 28 Rs.

Also the price may be like anything - if you are coming with luggages or with family.
