Taking High Fares

Hello Sir,

This is Ratanpal, working as a Lecturer at The M.S. University of Baroda.

On 23/5, I was going to Railway station from my home (Warashia Colony), the auto Rikshaw driver told me that he will take 40 Rupees. There were other auto drivers also every body was telling 40 rupees. the actual fare is around 30 rupees, since everybody told me I sit in one auto having number GJ6 UU 4483, I told him you people are talking too high rates he said politicians are increasing rates of everything and if we take even one more rupee you are talking like we are doing robbery. I said since I will pay 40 rupees, plz down the meter I want to see how is the actual rate, he is meter is not working. This is the situation of all auto drivers. He was telling me that since last 2 hrs he dont have any customer so I said is that my fault? Are you going to recover from me. I don't know the name of the driver, but the number I have mentioned.

Please take some action against the auto driver at Warashia colony (A Block).
