Auto Rickshaw Driver Menace

This is to highlight the auto rickshaw drivers menace in the city of hyderabad. The auto drivers are running the show according to their wims & fancies by charging exorbitant amount of money from the passengers without any proper meter or justification. They all have now teamed up & have one common answer to such blatant charges saying we don't have proper income & government doesn't support us. I think this is an evasive comment to charge heavy rates.

They abuse the passengers and are extremely uncooperative. The worst part is they abuse & evetease the girls & women freely on the road. While driving they constantly peep in the rear view mirror (if there is a female passenger) which is dangerous. For instance Abids GPO, Hollywood, Big Bazaar and many more such areas one may find such incidents every now & then. Recently one auto driver at Big Bazaar-Abids was beaten black & blue by a foriegn national as the auto guy passed a lude remark at the girl accompanying the foriegn national.

The law authoritites should be doing soemthing to stop this nonsense.
