Cancellation of flight and intimation just 6 days before

Dear Sir,

I had booked flight tickets from Pune to Ahmedabad for travel date of 28th July. The booking was done at least 24 days prior to ensure that i could get a better deal on the flight tickets. The booking reference number as given by the airlines was TG2NCH.I received a call as on 20th-Juy stating that my both the tickets for to and fro travel from Pune to Ahmedabad has been cancelled as they are no longer going to fly on the sector. On account of the said cancellation i am in a catch 22 situation as there are no cheap flights available for travel from Pune to Ahmedbad as most of the price for the flights have almost doubled. Also adding to the fact that the booking was done by paying the entire money upfront to the airline, for which the airline has not provided the services and also the money is yet to be refunded as on date. This irresponsible action on the part of airlines has not only cost me in terms of monetary aspect also i am in a lurch as to arrange my travels in the last minute as the function that i plant to attend in ahmedbad cannot be postponed. Seek your help on the same.
