Cancellation of ticket

I have done reservation of myself with my 8 friends from nizamuddin station of delhi to kacheguda (hyderabad) then onwards upto yeswantpura station (bangalore) along with return journey from bangalore to nizamuddin dated 24th july, 25th july and 30 july respectively. due to some reason we have to cancel 4 of them .for this we went to ticket counter of baijnath paprola and then palampur station but they refuse me for cancellation. they misbehaved with me.i am very much puzzeled now. as it is well known that any reserved autherised ticket can be cancelled at any station of india. they said to me that he will not do that at any cost and scolded me . he made me afraid of police also. kindly take some action against this so that nobody may suffer due to this in future.thank you.
