Problems at Thane and Kalwa station

Dear Sir,

This is to bring to yours notice the problems faced by the thane and Kalwa commutates on daily basis.

There has being a long pending issue of Making a new fly over bridge at Thane railway station as the one existing are few decades old and not of the capacity of Handling huge crowds.

Due to which during peak hours there are many fights due to overcrowding. To keep the situation under control the RPF and Police staff of about 5 to 6 people have to daily guard the Fly over. simply loss of huge capable manpower who can be used for security reason.

This has being going on for the last one year or so.

Even after mamta Banerjee announcement of Thane station to be made world class why the Thane station condition is even proper than Mulund station.

Due to this overcrowding many people prefer to cross tracks then to take fly over resulting into accidents.

Even at Kalwa Station there are many people who cross tracks in front of the RPF and Police staff.

If the RPF and Police staff are not able to carry out their jobs then what are they paid for and where is the security of the common man if any one is entering the station from any entry.

Need to close all the illegal entries to the railway station similar to one done at Kanjurmarg station.

Hope u understand out problem and take appropriate action Asap to save valuable lives of commutates.
