Not turning on lights of railway bridges at Thane Station after 6.00 p.m

Sir,

Due to winter season sunlight becomes dim early i.e. upto 6.00 p.m. there is very poor light on the bridges of Thane railway station. Besides the bridges are too small for big crowd, due to poor lighting there is heavy rush everyday after 6.00 p.m. and also huge crowd is coming on the bridge due to peak period. It results in overcrowding of bridges as people cannot walk through fastly on the bridge due to nonavailability of light which in turn results in chain pulling, eve-teasing and other antisocial activities. I fear it may lead to serious injuries due to heavy rush in future. I have tried two times to complain this fact to station master of Thane station. However reply from the person holding the chair was not positive. Instead he told me to put my complaint in writing. Is he unaware of this geographical reason of big nights n small days of winter?
