Non delivery of article and delivery of damaged article

I am writing this on behalf of my daughter, dr.aparna rao.

we booked hosehold goods from tuticorin to newdelhi vide cons.no.00070 dt 08-02 in 6 boxes.5 boxes were delivered at our residenve on 22nd feb.delhi representative of the packers promised to deliver the missing packet in 2 days.after repeated reminders he informed that the packet had been traced and will be delivered in 2 days.till today he has not delivered.

out of the articles delivered one microoven was found damaged with glas and stand broken.the local representative promised to take up the matter with ho for compensation.on 22nd march i sent a email to the company at madras, with no response.my tel. talks with the ho have not been fruitful.

my daughter was prevented from presenting a paper at an international seminar of opthalmologists on 1st june.

we request you to take up this matter with the company for satisfactory compensation.
