Courier still on transit

31st July - Evening 19:00 hrs, I had sent a gift item on the eve of my friend's birthday in chennai nanganallur branch. They charged me Rs 43..It should have reached by wednesday evening itslef... at the worst case by thursday 2nd august atleast... it is still on transit... His birthday is gone... Why the hell will company charge me rs 43 and doesn't deliver to the person... The more pathertic thing is none picking the call, email response is delayed... let me know how should I approach consumer court
