Non-delivery of courie

This is to bring to your notice a problem that I have been encountering with Express IT couriers in conjunction with Bank Of India.

On two occassions I had requested a cheque book from Bank Of India (BOI), to be delivered to my residence address. However, on both occasions, the cheque books were delivered to the local BOI branch and I had to travel over 20Km, just to collect the same! The reason stated was that they could not find the address, which is absurd, considering that I have previously received cheque books from ICICI without any hassles, at this same address.

I am not sure who is to blame here? Express IT or BOI. BOI does claim that though they have repeatedly warned Express IT not to repeat this. But, it has no effect. What I cannot understand is that if they have so much trouble with this company then why continue to do business with them. The fact is that, we consumers are being taken for a ride.

I do hope you will look into the matter, in order to ensure that we consumers are not put through such harassment again.
